Typhoon 2

Bevor ich über mein Wochenende berichte:
Morgen erreicht der Typhoon Saitama und ich habe deswegen später Schule.
Die Schule fängt erst um 10:40 Uhr an, aber wenn das Wetter zu schlecht ist, um zu fahren, kann ich sogar noch später los.
Und der Unterricht ist auch viel kürzer. Ich habe zwar noch immer 6 Stunden Schule, aber jede Lektion dauert jetzt nur noch 35 Minuten. Japaner mögen es wohl nicht, einfach Stunden ausfallen zu lassen.
Mein Gastvater hat mir heute noch einmal bestätigt, dass der Typhoon der schlimmste seit 10 Jahren ist.
Ich hoffe einfach, dass der Fluss gleich neben dem Haus nicht überfliesst, aber der hat zum glück noch ein paar Meter.

Before I talk about my weekend:
Tomorrow, the typhoon will reach Saitama, because of that my school starts later.
It starts at 10:40, but if the wetter's to bad to drive, I can go even later. Also the lessons are shorter. I still have 6 lessons school, but they are only 35 minutes now. Japanese don't like lessons to be cancelled.
My host father explained me today again, that this is the worst typhoon in ten years. Just my luck, to be here then. I just hope that the rain isn't too bad and the river doesn't overflow. It's right beside my house. But it still has a few meters.

Typhoon

Der Typhoon ist nun auch in Saitama angekommen! Ich hatte für heute eigentlich geplant zum Bunkasai (Schulfest) eines anderen Austauschschülers zu gehen, aber es wurde gestrichen.
Das Wetter ist omentan schrecklich. Es regnet in Strömen und ein super starker Wind geht.
Ich habe gehört, dass das der stärkste Typhoon seit 10 Jahren werden soll.
Heute bleibe ich mal sicher im Haus und vielleicht ist morgen schon wieder besser. Bei so einem Wetter fahre ich nicht gerne in die Schule.

Today the typhoon also started in saitama. The weather is terrible. It rains a lot and it's stormy. I planned to go to a bunkasai (School festival) from another exchange student, but it got cancelled because of the typhoon. So today I will only sit at home doing nothing and hoping that it gets better for romorrow. I don't want to drive to school in this weather. I heard that it will be the worst typhoon for 10 years!

Gastfamilie / Hostfamily

Endlich! Ich habe meine Gastfamilie erhalten :) Ich werde in der Saitama Präfektur leben, etwa 100 km von Tokio entfernt.

Über meine Gastfamilie weiss ich noch nicht sehr viel, da sie im Anmeldedokument kaum etwas ausgefüllt haben. Ich habe 2 Gastschwestern, aber nur eine lebt bei der Familie. (Ich bin wohl doch aufgeregter, als ich dachte) Beide leben Zuhause. Sie sind 14 und 17.
Über meine Schule weiss ich noch weniger. Es ist die Soko Minami Senior High School. Da sie aber keine Website hat, habe ich nichts über sie herausgefunden. 

Ich werd mich heute noch an eine E-Mal an meine Gastfamilie senden und mich noch einmal vorstellen und etwas mehr über sie herausfinden .Sicher werde ich sie mal noch auf Facebook stalken, sobald ich das Bild in ihrer Anmeldung sehen kann. :)
Ich muss es nocheinmal überarbeiten: Meine Mutter meint es ist in Tokio, mal schauen wer recht hat. :)

Finally! I got my host family! I will live in the Saitama prefecture, about 100 km from Tokyo.

I don't know much about my host family yet. I have two host sisters one of those will live with me and her parents. The other one doesn't live at home anymore. (I'm more excited than I thought.) BOTH live at home. They are 14 years old and 17 years old.

About my school I know less. It's the Soko Minami Senior High School. But the school doesn't have an own website, so I couldn't find out much.

I will write today the first E-Mail to my host family and introduce myself again and maybe find out a little bit more about my future family. Of course I'm going to stalk them on facebook as soon as I know how they all look like. :)
I have to overwork it: My mother thinks it is in Tokyo. We'll look who's right then :)
